The confession of the heart

A Facebook Friend posted this status message,  " I want to confess my love to hopelessness, but what's the use?"

I was prompted to express my reply on it, here it goes:

"The heart which doth get ready to confess love does not dwell on the result of the action or the use of the act. The intensity of pure love itself shall overwhelm the heart and bring it to the cliff of confession. The heart should then, just do.. Because, many a times, there is hope beyond hopelessness, light beyond darkness, words beyond silence"

'Miracle turtle' returns to the sea — after lots of surgeries

There is something purely divine about this story of the miracle turtle. The beauty how the technological advancements in biomedical engineering and medicine could provide novel materials and ways to repair the turtles' shell and other lost parts of this tiny little being (albeit its 177 pounds though!) in this universe, and eventually its farewell to the wild sea is so akin to a catharsis for me atleast.
I found myself drawn to the story of this small beings' perseverance and fighting spirit amidst all diversities.
I think , as a well equipped human, we still need to pause in our daily lives and stop for a moment to think that there are other lives on this planet, who even though might not affect the lives of many materialistic and epicurean people (those who kill for turtle meat and eggs), but it affects those lives who are struggling and in their small and courageous ways, teach us divine lessons of courage, perseverance and love on this “endangered” planet Earth.

My wishes go out for this little miracle turtle named Andre and all those people who made him a little hero!!
