They say curiosity kills the cat.
I wondered then: What kills the mouse?
The answer came, "The absence of that cat. Since as long as that cat was alive, it was up and chasing the mouse and the mouse, in turn, was constantly running, struggling, thinking of new ways to escape, find food, save, and continue to plan next move. But the death and the absence of that cat, does, in a way slowly kills the mouse due to no true purpose of life left anymore."
I smiled at that insight...
